Before coming to the UAE, I was on the peak of my career in the Philippines working with AT&T as a Service Manager, I was enjoying my life and never thought of leaving my country, my friends and family to work overseas. Even though I am having the best time of my life I still feel that something is missing and I have to find it myself, one day ,I came across to this job advertisement looking for people to work in a coffee shop here in Dubai and if you are in the Philippines getting a job in the hospitality industry is the easiest way to get here. Things happened quickly, in less than a month I got the offer, sign the contract and flew to Dubai without any plans of staying long, I only need the experience, and I want to experience Dubai.

Things didn’t work the way I was expecting. The company sent me to Abu Dhabi which I don’t have any idea where it was, and they assigned me to work in a bar as a bar back. That very day, I was very adamant to leave and go back home, but then I realized that I am not that kind of person. I am not a quitter, unconsiously I started loving my job and Abu Dhabi. From being a bar back, I became a bartender and before my first year anniversary I was promoted as the Stock Manager responsible for all admin, inventory and generating sales report. In year 2016, one of my friends in Dubai asked me if I want to try working in Real Estate, being a person who always wants to learn new things I immediately say yes. I started working as Customer Relation Officer handling accounts of distress project in Dubai. I lasted a year until I get another offer to work as a Property Manager which I am still doing at the moment. This job is by far the most exciting job that I ever had as I am learning lots of things everyday and I am enjoying every single person that I am working with.

On a professional level, I am a very proactive person and have a great sense of responsibility, I am very receptive to ideas and suggestions and I like to analyze situations that arise in my professional life and provide immediate solutions. I am capable of handling wide range customer service function and consistently producing top quality work and can work effectively in a fast paced environment and consistently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent inter-personal skills, initiative, attentive to detail and follow through skills.
